I’m starting a basic beginner yoga series on my YouTube channel, and I invite you to try it. If you’ve never tried yoga before, this is for you. These pose sets are loosely based on Iyengar’s Light on Yoga asana series. This is a great resource!
I encourage the use of props. The most common props are:
- sturdy, stable chair
- two yoga blocks (or something of that size)
- yoga strap or belt
- bolster and/or blankets
A yoga mat is very useful for not sliding around and for providing some cushion for your yoga bones ☠️ That’s all! See you there 😊
