Yoga FAQ

I currently offer a variety of yoga lessons to provide you with a well-rounded practice.

I teach with the knowledge that I am an eternal student. My intention is to support you on your yoga journey, whether that is doing one physical practice a week, or meditating every day. May you find balance and joy in all that you do!

Current offerings


Yoga Fundamentals

An option for beginners or anyone who wishes to get back to the basics. Lessons are focused on foundational yoga postures, known as asana. In this practice, we attend to the alignment and structure of each pose. Please bring yoga props if you have them available and prepare for standing, sitting, supine (on the back), and prone (on the belly) postures.

Vinyasa Flow

Energize your body with dynamic yoga postures. In this practice, we transition from one asana to another with the breath. Strengthen and lengthen your body and mind with fun sequences.

Suitable for intermediate and advanced practitioners 💛 ❤️

Slow Flow for the Spine

Your spine is a marvelous structure that keeps you upright, allows you to twist and turn, and protects all of the nerves that connect your brain to your body. For those of us who sit all day, maintaining spinal health can be a challenge. In this lesson, we focus on core strength and mobility throughout your lower, middle, and upper back. You can also expect hip openers, as tightness in the hips often contributes to lower back pain.

Meditation & Breathing


Originating in Buddhist meditation tradition, mindfulness has now been scientifically proven to offer a myriad of health benefits: reduced stress and anxiety, lengthened attention span, enhanced sleep, and more. Look forward to improving your emotional health and increasing your self-awareness with this meditation practice. Our session includes gentle breathing techniques (pranayama).

Join me for a session of loving-kindness meditation (mettā bhāvanā). This meditation technique has its origins in Buddhist practices. Mettā is a wonderful way to strengthen your connection with others in a healthy, positive way.

Yoga Nidra

Offered every New and Full Moon.

Experience profound rest and relaxation with this guided awareness practice. Reduce stress and fatigue, increase energy and inner bliss! Please note that we lay in a supine position for 30 minutes. Instructions on how to stay comfortable are given at the start of class.

Suitable for anyone who is in need of deep rest 😌 💚 💛 ❤️

Lessons are held in a non-judgmental, non-competitive atmosphere. I invite all participants to listen to their bodies. If you have preexisting medical (physical or mental) conditions, please consult your doctor about the appropriate type of activity for you.
